Lord Let Me Hear You In The Silence

Write by:

“God is in the midst of the city; it shall not be moved;
God will help it when the morning dawns.

The nations are in an uproar, the kingdoms totter;

God utters a sound, the earth melts.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Come, behold the works of God; see what desolations

God has brought on the earth.

Yahweh makes wars cease to the end of the earth;

God breaks the bow, and shatters the spear, and burns the shields with fire.

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

– Psalm 46:5-10a

Lord Let Me Hear You In The Silence

Sometimes I feel that words are not enough to express the soul.
Sometimes Silence has more power than speech.
Guide me to talk only when necessary and at other times simply meditate or reflect to allow Your love to flow in my spirit.
Endless chatter fills the time, but not the void in my heart.
Please quiet my mind that I may hear your voice and be filled with your precious essence, which mere words cannot embrace.
In Christ’s Name.
Amen.
